Just what the General (should have) ordered! This retractable plate is the answer to every 5th Gen Camaro (2010 through 2015) owner's prayers. Keeps local authorities and you happy and your Camaro looking clean and uncluttered.
Well-engineered bracket mounts under the front bumper, (three small, hidden holes need to be drilled for installation). Your license plate will operate by remote control and slides out and flips up to be viewed, but when at a show, the plate can be flipped down and slid under the front bumper with just a push of a button - out of sight. A quality part that solves the front plate driving dilemma.
PLEASE NOTE: This is Altec's universal mount power plate, with added bumper cushions on the back side just for the 5th Gen Camaro. The installation instructions that are included are for general any vehicle installation. Minor drilling of three mount holes will be required under the front bumper out of sight.

This kit should not be operated when the car is motion above 5 MPH and is designed to permanently fail in the plate up position (plate showing) to prevent it's use to illegally bypass traffic enforcement equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept this kit back for replacement under the 30 day warranty if the unit shows that it was attempted to be used while the car was in motion or any signs of road rash. We bench test each unit before it ships and if any issues arises during the first 30 days from purchase date please let us know. Beyond 30 days you will have to contact Altec directly for service and replacement parts.
