This listing includes both the Front Spring Retainer Upgrade Kit and the 88-96 lowering kit which includes everything necessary to lower your 84-87 Corvette.
To lower your 84-87 Corvette you have to replace and upgrade the stamped steel inner Front Spring Retainer Brackets to the 88-96 style cast aluminum brackets which are stronger and lend more support to the rubber spring mounting insulators.
This complete lowering kit includes not only the lowering kit but also the upgraded front spring retainer kit.
The lowering kit's polyurethane front suspension wedges and extended rear spring bolts with adjustable Nylock nuts will allow you to lower the ride height of your C4 84-87 Corvette up to approximately one inch all the way around. The lower center of gravity will reduce roll and allow better handling and cornering. Besides the performance gains you will even add more style to your Corvette. Overall this kit has to be one of the best style/performance to dollar improvements you can make.
